On the 19th May 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas, 8-year-old Salem Sabatka was talking a walk with her mother when out of nowhere a stranger in a car approached them.
Without a moment’s hesitation, the 51-year-old stranger grabbed Salem and locked her into his car.
Salem’s terrified mother did everything she could, including trying to jump into the stranger’s car, but he pushed her out and left the area immediately.
Not knowing what else to do, Salem’s mother began screaming for help and thankfully, a neighbor’s cam caught some of the incidents on their doorbell cam/
An Amber alert was issued almost immediately and Salem’s photos began circulating on social media along with a description of the stranger’s car – a Ford Five Hundred.
Authorities worked hard for nearly eight hours in the hopes of finding Salem, but in the end, it was two Good Samaritans who led the cops to the kidnapper.
After seeing the ‘missing child’ poster on social media, two members of the church decided to literally hunt for the Ford Five Hundred.
These heroes saved the day with their determination to help catch the stranger and reunite Salem with her family.
