A TimberMan VR for Quest 2 Review

I’m a logger, and I’m fine. Ehem… Ever aspired to work as a lumberjack? Then get into TimberMan VR, a game that will have you hacking down trees with axes, machetes, and hammers in no time! Get out your flannel, grow out your beard, and play!

TimberMan VR, created by GameFormatic S.A., places you in the shoes of a virtual lumberjack and puts you in a race against the clock to collect points and new gear.

In a way, this game kind of reminds me of Beat Saber only with trees and axes. As you progress, you unlock new tools, new environments, and new challenges. It has retro cool graphics, but just like in the real world, you also get to hack through bird’s nests, bee hives, and squirrels.

The game is simple, fun, and fast-paced. I had a bit of trouble at the beginning of the game, however. My axe and machete ended up in the wrong hands and I couldn’t figure out how to switch them. It didn’t stop me, however, from hacking and slashing in no time and I soon got to choppin’ wood.

Did I mention, my kids love this game? You will too.
