OUTAGES IN UKRAINE
On Thursday, the government imposed electricity limitations between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., and advised people to use less energy.

Blackouts in some places were among the first such restrictions since Russia’s invasion on February 24. They came after a volley of Russian attacks that President Volodymyr Zelenskiy claimed had hit a third of all power plants.

According to Volodymyr Kudritskiy, the chairman of the board of the national energy firm Ukrenergo, “many weeks will be needed to restore the reliability of our energy system.”

He stated that this assessment was contingent upon a stop to mass shelling.
