Unfortunately, Mona Meinhan’s elderly age prevented her from using makeup in this situation. Although Mona’s precise age is unknown, her failing eyesight and trembling hands prevented her from performing the tasks she was accustomed to.
However, it was shown in a touching and wonderful film created by the BBC that Mona doesn’t need to worry about her makeup because her spouse learned how to do it on his own!
Des Meinhan, 84, does his wife’s cosmetics every day so she can feel attractive. The video went viral and warmed people’s hearts everywhere.
Des even attended a makeup session to ensure he would do well. Even Kim Kardashian’s personal makeup artist heard about the couple’s romance.
According to the interview, Mona and Des are still in love. Des supports his wife in every way he can, despite the fact that he doesn’t believe she needs makeup to be beautiful, and they have been married for 56 years.
He says in the video, “I always think that less is more and I don’t want my beloved Mona to be full of cosmetics.
Des and Mona were invited to an artist’s workshop in London by Mario Dedivanovic, a famous makeup artist who has worked with Kim Kardashian.
I first learned about Des & Mona, an Irish couple, a few months ago. Des started attending makeup classes at Benefit Ireland with rosieodriscoll74 when Mona started loosing her vision so he could learn how to do her makeup.
Des, Mona, and Rosie needed to be invited to TheMasterClass, so I called my manager and told her we had to make that happen. A big thank you to benefit ire for making this possible for me. Seeing them there in front of me made my heart feel incredibly full. My year’s and TheMasterClass London’s high point.
