Finally, the Bills are attempting to assist Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs

The Bills are looking at a top wide receiver prospect to possibly complement the already potent combination of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.

Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs make up one of the best quarterback and wide receiver combinations in the league for the Buffalo Bills, but they haven’t been as successful as their AFC rivals.

This past postseason, Joe “Brrr” of the Bengals iced them out, causing the Bills’ disappointing early exit in the divisional round. The year prior, the Bills missed out on a trip to the Super Bowl due to the powerful Mahomes of the Chiefs (along with a lucky coin flip).

With the 27th overall pick, Buffalo also has to address position needs in the trenches and in defense, yet taking a wide receiver early could be a sneaky good investment.

Star target Stefon Diggs has flourished under Allen’s arm for the last three years but has also noticeably been blanketed by defenders every time he steps onto the field. It’s why Gabe Davis and then-wideout Isaiah McKenzie were able to break out in games last seasons, although their performances were largely inconsistent. Anyone who picked up Davis in fantasy football knew the pain.

Rather than suffer through the hot-and-cold phases of aging receivers, the Bills can add Hyatt to take a bit of pressure away from Diggs and also help the youngster grow into his own as a dangerous threat.
