Google confirms that the March update is now available for the Pixel Watch

Verizon may have overstated the situation when it announced that Pixel Watch owners will be receiving the March security update last week. Google has now officially confirmed this information, and the update is reportedly currently rolling out worldwide.

If the build number RWDA.230114.008.R1 appears in the settings menu, owners will know they are using the most recent build. If you don’t see it, you don’t have the most recent version, and you’ll now be in line to get it once the OTA arrives to your device.

About the new content, there are truly several delights inside. The entire list is provided below by Google.

While the device is turned off, the Watch Faces – Digital Clock is now accessible with a button press. Now, when the crown is pushed, the time and a red low battery signal both appear.

Display – You can now turn on AOD by turning the haptic crown in addition to enabling it in the companion app or watch’s settings. When AOD is turned off, the screen activates and the ambient mode brightens the display.

Touch – Improvements have been made to the touch screen’s sensitivity.

Settings – This update fully enables the single tap support for Battery Saver in QSS.

Alarms: In the upcoming weeks, a remedy for the Clock app update via the PlayStore will be released to address some alarms that have been delayed.

If you thought you were going crazy because your Pixel Watch wasn’t receiving the update last week, now we know what the deal was. Verizon was just a bit early.
