President Joe Biden has promised that if voters elect more Democratic senators and keep the House, he will introduce legislation to codify abortion rights into law.
During a speech at a Democratic National Committee event in Washington, D.C. this November, Biden emphasized abortion rights as a voting issue for Democrats.
“We’re only 22 days away from, in my opinion, the most consequential moment in our history, at least in recent history — an election where the choice and stakes are crystal clear, especially when it comes to the right to choose,” Biden said Tuesday.
