In a contentious Pennsylvania Senate debate, Fetterman and Oz argue about crime, the economy, and abortion.

The Pennsylvania Senate debate on Tuesday turned into a contentious exchange between Democrats John Fetterman and Republicans Mehmet Oz. It was the final discussion between the two candidates prior to the November 8 election, and it focused on topics including crime, the economy, abortion, and fracking.

The Pennsylvania Senate debate, which took place in Harrisburg and used closed-captioning services at Fetterman’s request, lasted under an hour as the two traded jabs on the topics they believed to be most important to voters and tried to convince the audience that they were the superior choice. However, a large portion of the evening’s material was overshadowed by Fetterman’s gaffes during the live discussion.

When asked what “qualifies” him to serve as the state’s next senator during the debate’s beginning, Fetterman responded, “Good night, everyone.” To serve Pennsylvania, I’m running. He is moving quickly in Pennsylvania. This individual attempted to purchase that seat with $20 million of his own money. The Oz rule, according to which a person is lying if he is on television, is another topic I have to discuss. He lied about our track record during his campaign, on his TV show, and most likely here during this debate. He has a history of lying.
