One Year Later, Russia’s Ambassador Claims That U.S. Weapons Are Insufficient to Win Ukraine

Russia’s ambassador to the United States has stated that Washington’s most recent rounds of military and economic support will not be enough to thwart Moscow’s efforts to topple Kyiv in the ongoing conflict as the war in Ukraine enters its second year.

Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov termed the action “mindless” and told Newsweek that “they once again want us to’suffer’” when contacted for comment on the most recent round of sanctions issued by President Joe Biden on the anniversary of the war.

Who actually believes that such actions will force our nation to abandon its independent course and deviate from the road selected towards a multipolar world based on the principle of indivisible security, international law, and the UN Charter? Antonov questioned ad hominem.

The Russian representative also criticized recent increases in military shipments to Ukraine from the United States and other Western nations.

They don’t realize that additional weapons, like all the others, merely serve to prolong the struggle, resulting in more carnage and doing nothing to advance the cause of peace, according to Antonov. The Russian army continues to make great strides toward completing the responsibilities assigned to it in order to defend the Fatherland. The nation as a whole supports our soldiers.
