Polish woman reporting being abducted the outcome of Madeleine McCann’s DNA test

The Independent reported on Wednesday that a Polish lady who claimed to be Madeleine McCann, the British girl who vanished in Portugal while on holiday with her parents, seemed to have given up looking for evidence after learning the results of a DNA test.

In February, Julia Faustyna, who also goes by the last name Wendel, rose to fame by claiming to be McCann.

Wendel, though, is 100% Polish, according to a DNA test.

Wendel, who has been claiming on social media since February that she is McCann, never provided any physical evidence to support her claim but claimed to have the same eye defect as the young girl.But, Wendel’s parents have been adamant that they are her parents and have claimed that Wendel took her birth certificate and a number of pictures with her when she left their home.

Wendel’s social media accounts, @iammadeleinemccan, rose in prominence as a result of her assertions; by February 22, they had amassed over 1.1 million followers.

Wendel allegedly went back to reside with her father following the conclusion of her search.
