It’s easy to overlook the power that each of us has to impact lives, but countless lives have been improved as a result of one man’s one act of compassion.
It all started when Caden Pabst exited I-15 into the I-215 Belt Route. When smoke began to emerge from beneath the Kia Rio next to him, he saw it. Massive flames erupted shortly after. Worse, the man operating the automobile appeared to have no idea.
“I was yelling, ‘Move over, right now! Move over!’ And when he gave me the thumbs up, I was like ‘No, move over, move over, now!’” Caden said.
He persisted in shouting at the motorist, hoping to induce him to pull over.
Even when the motorist did what he suggested, Caden stayed to assist, pulling over to the side of the road himself. He advised the driver to take anything he needed and get out of the automobile as soon as possible.
The car entirely exploded into flames before exploding just moments after the two of them done so.
