The Texas Restaurant Association wants to inform Texas restaurant owners about a few funding program adjustments.
The Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant Program (TTIR) offers Texas restaurants that were adversely affected by COVID-19 one-time reimbursement amounts of up to $20,000. Restaurants can submit an application for the grant now through November 22 to get paid. Private companies and charitable organizations are eligible for the program.
The payment is made from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021’s Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund. Prior to January 20, 2020, eateries had to be open to be eligible.
The TTIR portal can be used to submit applications. Tax returns from 2019 through 2021, the most recent quarterly tax form 941, and payroll records are required papers.
