Two people are killed and more are injured in a hot-air balloon accident at the Teotihuacan archaeological site

An internal fire caused a hot-air balloon excursion to crash at Teotihuacán, which is roughly an hour from Mexico City, causing a horrible accident. Unofficial reports state that the accident resulted in two fatalities and three injuries.

The hot air balloon in Teotihuacan caught fire, and a video of the incident has been made public.

The Municipal Civil Protection offices received a call at 8:40 a.m. reporting a hot air balloon mishap at the Teotihuacan ancient site.

Emergency services arrived at the scene almost away to help, and witnesses captured the incident on camera. The hot air balloon caught fire while carrying people right in front of gate number 3 of the archaeological site.

Worried bystanders captured the exact moment of the fire and the hot air balloon’s crew falling out with it as it lost its shape and fell.

Many videos of the incident were posted on social media, including one in which one of the victims made the decision to leap in an attempt to save his life; at this time, it is unclear what condition the jumper is in.

Hot air balloon travel can be a thrilling and unusual experience, but there are also some concerns that need to be taken into account. The following are a few risks connected with hot-air balloon travel:

Unpredictable weather conditions: The balloon may move in unexpected and potentially hazardous ways due to quickly changing weather conditions and unpredictable winds.

Crash landing: Although hot air balloon pilots make every effort to land gently, the landing can be difficult to control due to weather conditions or terrain topography. This can lead to abrupt or forced landings, which can cause injury to passengers.
