There are only two weeks till election day, so the Michigan gubernatorial candidates held their second of two debates Tuesday night. They discussed issues like education, abortion, energy, and infrastructure.
Since August, Republican Tudor Dixon’s lead over Democratic incumbent Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has shrunk from double digits to the low single digits or even even inside surveys’ margins of error.
While the Republican candidate stated Michigan was on the wrong track owing to the radical agenda of her Democratic opponent, Whitmer warned viewers they would hear polarizing speech from Dixon.
In response to Whitmer’s assertions that Proposal 3 was “absolutely important” on the subject of abortion, Dixon noted that the ballot measure does away with parental authorization for minors seeking abortions.

Dixon refuted Whitmer’s assertions that Proposal 3 was “absolutely important” on the subject of abortion by pointing out that it does away with parental permission for minors to get abortions.
