The OnePlus Buds Z2 are a brand-new set of true wireless earphones that OnePlus unveiled today. These are the follow-up to the reasonably priced OnePlus Buds Z, but this time there is a significant upgrade: ANC, or active noise cancelling.
At $99, the OnePlus Buds Z2 provide a nice bundle overall. You get touch controls, rapid charging, mono and stereo conversations, single bud support from either bud, 40dB ANC, 11mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.2, 10m Bluetooth range, 2 microphones, IP55 sweat resistance, two color options (white or black), and mono and stereo calls. When fully charged, the Buds Z2 take roughly 90 minutes, but you can use them for 5 hours in just 10 minutes. They have a battery life of roughly 5 hours on a single charge, and the casing provides.
The price of $99 gets you a pair of headphones with ANC and all the functionality you require. Not bad, you’d say?
Today, OnePlus is selling the white OnePlus Buds Z2. Next year, the black option will be available. The first set of pairs, according to OnePlus, are only available to subscribers of their Red Cable Club, a cost-free rewards program. You can participate here.
