Xavier Woods Reacts to the Cancellation of G4TV

Xavier Woods has made his feelings clear about losing roles with G4TV after the gaming network was canceled by Comcast.

The popular gaming network was re-introduced in 2021 and featured Woods as one of the focal points of its content.

Last month, Woods was announced as the new host of G4TV’s ‘Attack of the Show.’

On Twitter, Woods shared his reaction to the network being canned by Comcast.

Deadline received a message issued by Comcast CEO David A. Scott about G4TV.
“TEAM: G4 WAS RE-INTRODUCTED LAST YEAR TO CAPTURE THE POPULARITY OF GAMING. WE SPENT MONEY TO CREATE THE NEW G4 AS AN ONLINE AND TV DESTINATION FOR GAMING FANS TO BE ENTERTAINED, INSPIRED, AND CONNECTED WITH GAMING CONTENT. WE HAVE WORKED HARD FOR MONTHS TO GENERATE THAT INTEREST IN G4, BUT VIEWERSHIP IS LOW AND THE NETWORK HAS NOT ACHIEVED SUSTAINABLE FINANCIAL RESULTS. THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED, AND AS A RESULT, WE HAVE MADE THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO END G4’S OPERATIONS IMMEDIATELY.”
